Users GuideWS_FTP ProIn the Explorer interface, configure a firewall as follows:1 If you are not already on the Firewall tab: Select a site on which you want to use the firewall. Select Site Properties from the File menu. Click the Firewall tab.2 Click the New button.3 Enter a name for the firewall configuration. Note If you use the name Firewall as the name of a firewall configuration, you can apply the firewall configuration named Firewall only by selecting the name default when you attempt to use the configuration as described below. This is due to the need for this version of WS_FTP Pro to be compatible with earlier versions.4 Enter the firewall Host Name or IP Address.5 Enter the firewall User ID (User Name) and Password.6 Select the firewall Type from the drop-down list.7 Enter the Port number.8 Click Save.You can now assign the firewall configuration to the site, as described below.Using a Configured FirewallOnce you have configured a firewall, you can then apply the firewall configuration to an FTP site.In the Classic interface:1 If you are connected to a site, select Close from the File menu.2 Select Connect from the File menu to view the Connection dialog box.3 Make sure you are on the Host Info tab (not the Firewall tab).4 In the Firewall box, select a firewall configuration.
